“If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then you are a leader.” – John Quincy Adams.

Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life! To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, a school council was formed at D.A.V. International School and the investiture ceremony was held on July 21, 2018 in the school premises.

The proud parents of newly elected council members and PTA members witnessed the ceremony.

The Chief Guests of the day were  Mr. Dinesh Jotwani Vice-Chairperson and Mr. Bharat Bhanushali Joint Secretary of the PTA . The lighting of the lamp marked the beginning of the event. The school choir group of Std. VII & IX sang the welcome and motivational songs with great vigor and voice laced with pride and confidence.

Vidya Vishwajit and Hriday Lad of class 10th anchored the programme while the principal Mrs. Hema Nair delivered the welcome address to the gathering. She congratulated the elected council members and admonished them to be impartial and honest in discharging their duties. She also exhorted them to uphold the values. She reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school and peers and struggles help one to achieve heights.

The budding singers of Jr. KG presented a melodious song which was appreciated by the august gathering.

Dev Bhanushali   of class 10th A was elected as the Head Boy gave a speech.
